Stardew Valley, it's really one of those games you play once, and never stop playing! Inspired by games from the Harvest Moon series, this game is one that ever disappoints! Whether you want to roleplay a farmer tending to his/her potatoes and blueberries, or someone who want's to take care of loads livestock, and even someone who want's to pay their way through the world instead of supporting small businesses, you can do that in Stardew Valley!

This game is a easy favorite amongst so many gamers and I totally understand why! I myself have fallen victim to doing nothing productive and grinding out cranberries in the fall season to maximize profits for the winter season for year 2, just to realize the winter season has already passed and.. wait it's already summer year 5?? That's how easily you can get lost in the game!

There are always SO MANY THINGS TO DO, you never get bored! And if you somehow do everything the game has to offer, and get bored farming, guess what, you haven't done everything! There are many other kinds of farms you can start from offering different challenges and perks! You can farm, fish, mine, take care of animals, participate in seasonal events, make friends, build buildings, create intimate relationships, and even start a family!

The real only downsides I can think of is the fact that dialogue does get repetative the longer you play, and you do get underwhelming rewards for completing certain quests, but honestly the modding capability of this game EASILY makes up for it! There are THOUSANDS of mods that add quality of life features all the way to completely altering the game for the better! I've downloaded some mods that just feel like entirely new games and it's awesome there are communities of people out there working on making these beautiful additions to the game! With all that out of the way, let's get to my rating of Stardew Valley below!

Stardew Valley, inspired by the Harvest Moon games, is endlessly addictive. You can farm, fish, mine, build a life, and meet new people in gaming giving hours upon hours of content to indulge yourself in! But be careful, you can blink once and will have spent 100 hours in the game just like that without even knowing! Stardew Valley is a household game that I guarantee everyone that has gamed will eventually play this once in their life!
